EPC Patient care

Thank you for the trust you have shown by choosing our specialized Integrated centre for endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures in Kosice as the place for your treatment. You will be introduced to the basic steps of the comprehensive process when ensuring care for patients during their treatment at EuroPainClinics®.

I - YOUR FIRST CONTACT

To book your first appointment, you will have to fill in and send us a “Medical assessment” form and through the “Upload centre”, also on our website, you can send us your health documents issued by your GP. After evaluating this data, we will contact you in 24 hours to let you know about the next steps. If necessary, we will invite you to an online video-consultation with a specialist from EuroPainClinics®.

II - BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT

On the basis of the instructions with our EuroPainClinics® specialist, you will be able to book your appointment in the section carrying the same name (Book Your Appointment) and begin the preparation of your treatment. As soon as your appointment is processed, we will inform you and confirm the date and time of your visit to our clinic and the full price of your treatment. Please perform this payment by the day of your visit, at latest.

III - ADDITIONAL SERVICES

To ensure the full comfort of your treatment, we offer a free service to help you book a hotel room, plane ticket reservations, airport transport to the hotel and back, transfer from the clinic to the hotel, a personal EPC assistant, who will look after your during your whole stay, or any other extra services needed after consultation.

If you are interested in this, please, write an additional comment in the “Book Your Appointment” section.

IV - YOUR PROCEDURE DAY

When the day of your operation arrives, your personal EPC assistant will pick you up at your hotel at the arranged time and will transport you (and possibly your company) to the clinic. Before the surgery, an experienced anaesthesiologist will ensure your comfort and prepare you for the operation.

  • After the surgery has been performed, you will rest for the recommended time (approximately 2 hours, depending on the procedure performed) in a post-op room, which is part of the clinic.
  • Before your departure from the clinic, the doctor who performed your operation, will consult the course and outcome of the procedure with you and suggest some recommendations for the following days, including any physical therapy exercises, physical and sport activities, etc.
  • A medical report will be given to you on a USB flash drive.

V - AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE

After the recommended rest period following your operation, you will be free to leave the clinic and your personal EPC assistant will take you back to your hotel (driving after the procedure is not recommended).

VI - GOING HOME

Upon the day of your departure, your EPC assistant will transport you to the Airport.

VII - CONSULTATIONS FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE

The postoperative period requires more attention to your health condition to ensure that the full recovery is without complications. The best thing to do is to have a maximum amount of rest, particularly the first couple of days after the surgery, and to put as little strain on the spine as possible.

Our expert medical assistance is available to you throughout your recovery. You can contact us with your questions via e-mail info@epc1.eu.

VIII - GIVE US YOUR FEEDBACK

To ensure that all services and care provided to our patients meet your satisfaction, help us by filling in a questionnaire that we will send you via email info@epc1.eu. You can fill it in and let us know how content you were with our work, or if there is anything we can improve on.
